How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from the app or by contacting us via email.
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Devos app
- Go to Profile (bottom navigation bar)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
Option 2: Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to the address below with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.
We will process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone, organization, photo)
- Your favorited sessions and exhibitors
- Your meeting requests and meeting history
- Your session registrations and QR tickets
- Your push notification tokens
- Your Firebase Authentication account
This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Active session registrations will be cancelled.
Data That May Be Retained
In accordance with our Privacy Policy, some anonymized data may be retained for legitimate purposes:
- Aggregate event statistics (e.g., total registrations count — no personal identifiers)
- Anonymized crash reports (retained for 90 days)
